ROSE CALVILLO-JARA

Let’s face it, life is hard.  It can be filled with pain, whether that is mentally, emotionally or physically. And life can be beautiful.  It can be filled with love, joy, peace and gratitude.  This is the human experience.  My hope is to meet you where you are and provide you a safe space to reflect, process, accept or change what is important to you.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, perinatal and postpartum mood disorders, low self-esteem and self-confidence, and relationship challenges. I have a passion for health and wellness and use a holistic, trauma-informed approach to therapy that includes Person-Centered, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mind-Body Techniques such as movement, meditation, and nutrition.

To keep myself balanced, I do my best to incorporate daily meditation or exercise.  I love spending time with my family and four legged loved ones.  I also love traveling, spending time in nature, singing, laughing, and learning new things.

My intention is to provide you a safe space to accept or change what is important to you. —Rose
